Larger vessels have priority over smaller ones. The single blst by the tanker tells the ferry Iam turning to Stbd, you turn to port.

You can see from the tanker's bow wave that she did a pretty swift starboard turn! 'Right hand down A LOT!!'

If you have a poundland or similar you can get a USB packet with various attachments for printers, cameras etc
When I couldn't find mine for a samsung camera it had one

Good photos. I'd also 'watermark' them to avoid newspapers nicking them (which they do all the time).

Rules of the Road apply on rivers the same as in the Channel and anywhere else where ships are approaching each other. Wasn't there so can't say who but someone was in the wrong and will be done. A trawler skipper who's just been done for drunken skippering was also done a while ago for going up the English Channel on the "wrong side of the road".

There are specific lanes in the English Channel for ships travelling North / South to separate the traffic.
