Someone on a BMW forum spotted this and worked out, using average mpg figures, it will have had £55k spent on it in fuel alone  A rough breakdown - if it only gets used monday - friday, is over £50 per day in petrol

From what I read on the net they average around 15mpg
3.8 litres = 1 gallon = roughly £3.80
146000/15 = 9733.3 gallons of fuel
9733.3 x 3.80 = £36986.70
£36986.7/3years/52weeks= £237 per week fuel cost
That would make me feel sick lol

when i borrowed an m5 i only had it for 2 weeks but managed to spend £400 on fuel.

He will most likely have Googled it. The more popular gallon (aka US gallon) is 3.79 or summit along them lines. A UK gallon is 4.54.
Thats why as cheap as their fuel is, because its sold by the gallon, its not actually quite as cheap as it first seems - still damn cheap though lol.
It causes no end of problems when discussing cars and oil/fuel prices etc on a US forum I use.
