The Cunard Building is one of the most recognised buildings in the world. Situated on the Liverpool waterfront it is one in a collection of three buildings that are known as Liverpool's Three Graces.

Liverpool Shocks! and we want to celebrate this by holding our Liverpool Shocks! Halloween Abseil Weekender.

We have been told that this is the first time that the building is going to be available for abseils so this is an amazing opportunity.

Join us for what is promised to be one of the most exciting abseils to hit Liverpool, after Liverpool Rocks! of course.

As well as the 120ft abseil we promise to entertain your supporters throughout the weekend with music.

Registration for the abseil is just £10 and participants will need to raise a minimum of £85 in sponsorship.

Participants will receive a fundraising pack full of ideas to help them maximise their fundraising efforts.

Volunteer for Liverpool Shocks!

1. You get to meet a whole new group of people and make new friends

2. You will be giving something back to charity and experience the feel good factor that comes with this

3. A sense of achievement from the weekend and something to add to your CV

4. We provide free refreshments to all our event volunteers plus a free t-shirt

And finally...

You will have the opportunity to abseil for free.

All volunteers must commit to at least one day of this weekend event.

Roles include: Registration Desk, Certificate Desk, Runners, Cash Office, Marshals

I am also looking for anyone who could spare a few hours to distribute posters in the local area.

To be honest most of his training has been done by himself i just guided him in what to buy as he needed it. I,m sure we will all sponsor him. Maybe he can go up rather than down, that should draw a crowd.

As my granddad had a stroke on boxing day last year and never been the same since but still here to tell the story I feel I HAVE TO DO THIS
