If you had asked me 5 years ago, id have been able to offer advice, bunno what software is good for the S60 OS nowadays, havent had one (well had me N95 for a few weeks 3 years ago and got rid) for years, use Windows Mobile nowadays. I do recall though, some codecs like WMP etc, were tricky to get software to play them, back in the day on S60.
Will ask me mate though who seem's a bit of a Symbian geek.

Soz fella, asked me mate, and he gave up using his N80 to playback video and the like, when he bought an iPod. Only uses his N80 for calls and texts nowadays so also has little interest in S60. I still get emails from Symbian regarding the developers forum at http://developer.symbian.com/forum/index.jspa but im not even sure Symbian have anything to do with S60 now, as Nokia fully own it. Try the All About Symbian forums instead at http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=40 that was pretty good years ago, there was another forum, I forget the name, seem to recall it was italian/italian sounding, but it had all the warez software for S60 amongst other Symbian devices, if I remember ill let ye know. I use the PPCWarez forum for my phone software nowadays, but they don't cover S60, just Windows Mobile.

absolutly gutted, so basically, what your saying is there is no way of watching films on my phone. What about changing the format of the film i own on my pc to a real player version then putting it on to my phone. Would that be possible ?

Yer you can watch phones on it (I used to play back DivX on my 6600 back in 2002) but I dont know what software to use nowadays. You can also get format convertors too, look on the all about symbian forums for advice regarding what software is best to use.

how to put dvd film to mmc card for nokia phones. use the nokia PC suite then it will convert the files over when you put them on, just go to the nokia site and download the one for your mobile.. Depending how big your memory card is: 1gb? 2gb.or Click this website m8, and this will direct you to the nokia multimedia converter. (For Movies, and Music video playback only!) http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/0,6566,034-63,00.html In the middle click download now! and follow as it says. or you could read this aswell http://www.hackable.cc/forum/showthr...2657#post42657
