what was that in the mid 80's.remember taking my wife there when we was courting (anybody still call it that?) but cannot remember its name ,one of my mates was a bouncer on the door and let us in free and jumped the queue.

I used to love that place when it was rockys in the 90s

The place downstairs is a dump and they even charge you to go in there.

I used to go there in the 90's too we used to call it the Rocky horror show cos of all the old slappers done up in way to much war paint! that's meant to be haunted aswell by a boxer who died in there when it was a boxing club,he's seen in the toilet corridor and when you think about it,this was probably were the changing rooms were.

When it was the Boxers club and the bell went for last orders, they all knocked fook out of each other.

Strange that Bert, they used to do the same when it was a nightclub aswell...Well it is Birkenhead mate!

Iv been in there for my mates 18th it wasnt that bad tbh, i only remeber what the floor looked like tho. Think it has a little stage in there too.

Your right peach, there was a Stage in there.

i dj there in quite regular at a techno night they do once a month, its a good little venue now, they only open for private partys/nights

yeh there is a stage in there still thats were i practice in the daytime.

I go to that club with my firends on a saturday night sometimes

another dj gone over to the darkside! Grr cdjs.

Its only a pound to get in there but if u go a 10 its free

WE go there some weekends and they play decent music instead of rubbish music like rock and roll
