Upon visitin a well known website earlier last year i found to my amazement there were several places of interest underneath greater manchesters streets that we know of today. Take a look at these links for example... Click ma & ma too Very interesting Anyone from that area heard this?

I'll be suggesting a visit to the Stockport tunnels later in the year. Well worth a visit, but not exactly UE.
Carpe diem.

Caught the tail end of something on th TV either last night or the night before saying they were going to look at Underground Manchester.
I think it was for next week around the 6:30 news time, might have been "The One Show", might not have been - never watch TV at this time of night.
They showed a clip of the presenter coming down what looked like the Cathedral Steps to the Gents Toilets.
Sorry for the sketchy info - did anyone else spot it a bit more accurately than I did.
There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music.
