Yeah it went in the mid-90's didnt it?

That is the best photo I have seen so far of it!

Picture 76 is looking down Red Hill Road on Storeton hill - went there last night to check, wall on left of road and hedges both side and even telegraph poles are still there - along with the long S shape.

Here are two aerial picture of the tunnel approach system including the Conway St flyover. There is a PDF somewhere on wikiwirral of the scheme (which is where I got 1st picture).

If you can't find it then PM me - or someone PM me to tell me how to put a pdf up (I am not very forum savvy - sorry).

shame it had to come down give the place bit of character.

Look for (our) soundlad on youtube - he has put up loads of brilliant stuff - thanks Lee.

One of my favourites is "Birkenhead - The 1960's & 70's" which unusually wasn't soundlad - this has Grange Road, Oak & Eldon and even the Coop Dairy on Swan Hill.

Got to agree with dd, Lee(SoundLad) has done a brilliant job with those old videos.

Most of these have been knocked down now and more surrounding building are to be knocked down in february.
I will obtain the photographic evidence of this when it happens
