I agree spinking! It also used to be that a fight was settled one on one - now it's upwards of 3 on one.

I don't condone violence of any kind, but it is getting much much worse nowadays.

I agree with you wholeheartedly MissG, but I have to add that IMO, it begins at home!

So many "parents" couldn't give a monkeys where their kids are as long as they are not at home with them - that's the ones that are at home. Some are too busy getting slaughtered in the pub or getting so off their faces on gods know what to care!

I feel sorry for those children, but it's no excuse for them to be little hooligans.

I know a lot of people who had horrendous childhood's but are good people without a record.

Your two are VERY lucky - they have fantastic parents that go above and beyond!

while i agree with that, i personally think it's society as a whole that turns these little fannies into wot they r. i mean, u get drunks, beaters, murderers etc in all forms, many of which are parents, and yet, they could have kids getting top grades etc.
- imo, fall into the wrong crowd, ur life is also going to end up going very wrong - leaving the rest of society to take the shit

Cant say i ever have thank the lord, but i can totally feel for you and it makes me feel disgusted when they go braggin about it, pathetic, i feel this place is badly goin down the pan. there is a program on at the mo called world strictest parents. this is a good show, to realise the differences in our upbringing.

i never received the cane at school - but the threat of it was enough to put me off. our teachers in primary also had a ruler and a slipper lol.
