Ok, creepy. I remember my parents once telling me about these tunnels, about 5 years ago, and forbid me ever to go down there. I forgot about them just until today.. woah.

I want to find the entrance. I drove down boundary road today, but didnt get a chance to stop and get out..

I live on Eleanor Road, up one of the driveways, very very close to the top of the hill.

I also want to find the entrance, if only to have a look at this historical place...Saw many pictures on here tonight and have been blown away by these tunnels that until today, I never knew where there. My dad, who is knocking 48 this year said he went down into the tunnels in his youth and that the steel door has been there for a long time.

After my last visit to the main entrance I am convinced that unless another entrance is unearthed or heavy machinery is used there is no way in at the present moment

tryed the entrence on the hill meney moons a go but there is a steel plate screwed to the floor about 1intch thick

my dad thinks that Quigo on the grafitti on one of the walls is
Tony Quiglan who went to Corpus Chrisi and left in 1975

he also ssaid he went down the tunnels on many occasions from '72-76

i went to the entence,s last week and found 3 2 are cerment and the other is filled with soil

hi dude thay 3 entrance is on hoylake road in line with the mane entrence about 20 meters a long the same path that it runs thay is i square concrea witr 3 steps on 1 side its about 15 by 11 fot ene 1 no wat it is or wats under it

i,v found 3 entrance,s 2 is very solid and the other is covered in soil hmmmm

i wanna know if it is the same tunnels as the 1 in the church in the pryry in monks ferry and the vent shaft on holborn hill ?? birkenhead ??

hi man wer abouts is the 1 on the hill thats screwd to the floor ? can u remember ?

theres no way on earth you guys will be able to get back in, its all completly locked down

If i`m thinking of the entrance on top of the hill, its next to a tree on a mound of grass not far from where the cockpit concrete is
we have been underneath this entrance and could just about hear the others who were standin on the top of it.

The Bidston Hill Tunnels are separate from the Monks Ferry Tunnel and also separate from the Tranmere Tunnels; all three are separate.

we was up ther the weekend lookin around an was speakin to an old man an he was sayin of an entrance near the houses he ment the one,s west of the cock pit we went lookin an i mean through the thick bush we found steps an bricks could be sumthing ? not sure yet tho we was approcimatly 30 meaters west of the cock pit down hill ?

nice 1 for the info on that can u remember witch direction of the cock pit it was ?
