my car's steerin wheel vibrates rediculously around 80mph, almost as if it's about to come off in my hands! lol - been told it could be loads of things from uneven tyre wear, unbalanced wheels, wheel alignment, etc, etc so annoyin lol

Fitted new drop links yesterday.

One of the bolts had been stripped of the thread so had to hacksaw it off.

Also replaced the bolts and nuts for stainless ones

Also took my dials apart to remove the bits that form when the paint starts peeling off.

Will be fitting the rear hubs I bought and some grooved discs and painting my calipers next week smile

It's a lot better, but as the disks are warped, still get a slight vibration

Started working on them today ready for painting and then fitting next week.

Although they're covered in crap and a bit rusty, managed to strip one in half an hour.

Got some new front & rear solid discs as a birthday present off Sausage. Didn't bother going for vented or grooved, but might upgrade at a later date though.

Decided to paint the calipers blue, so just waiting for the VHT paint to come in the post.

Got the other one stripped today.

Wire brushed all the rust away on one and started painting it.

Managed to remove the handbrake cables today, they were rusted in place.

Painted the caliper brackets with red oxide to stop them rusting and finished with a coat of black paint.

Will be fitting everything together tomorrow and hopefully spraying the calipers if the paint comes.

Im disgusted that you chose to dry the parts on a page showing Phil Wright from the XR3 challenge.

He lives, 1 mile from my house

Arent you impressed as to how eagle eyed Ive been??

Oh, also, I know how you feel bout rusty Handbrake Cables. I had to remove and reattach a set on Barneys Homemade Trailer, made from MkII Escort Leaf Springs, bits of old truck, and calipers from a destroyed Cavalier...

Mmmmmmm Messy
