Hi, i know theres somebody on these forums that is the man when it comes to getting wheels.

I`m after some 13" Revolution, Weller deep dish rims or something similar to the photograph below.

Steel or alloy, the deeper the better.
With tyres or without.

To fit a Toyota MR2 mark 1.

You can get these in 9" wide (yummmy),
the only problem with a mr2 fitment is that its the same as mk1-mk2 golfs..

And these types of wheels are currently the 'fashion must have', so they are commanding major league prices.

But the furture is steel rims banded!!! to 9"

You need vw G60,15" steels, or new Mini 15" steels, then band them, powder coat black with a red pin-strip.

What does `Band` mean?

is it like a split rim thing ???

Band means they cut the wheels in 2 peices, then add a band of steel to make the wheels wider, for instance a 6j wheel (6inches wide) and add a 2 inch band to make them a 8j wheel.

MOT time maybe a problem though as they don't pass them due to them being a modifyed part. ie strength
