I was quoted £42.50 all in for a brand new diesel battery (dearer then petrol batteries) from Europarts in Moreton. I think the dearest place was quoting £68 lol. Halfords are absolute rip-off merchants. In the end I got myself a second hand, but practically new one (still in packaging etc) from the scrappy for £15 lol. BMW Joe Wiki Master Registered: 30th Apr 2006 Posts: 12369 Loc: Birkenhead	I was quoted £50 for one inc VAT from J&M Speed but they shut at 1pm on Sat and weren't open today The one I bought is a calcuim battery and has a 4 year guarantee, otherwise it was about £55 for a standard one.
