Been to see it today, and I like it a lot, It was only brought in on Saturday and he has a few little bits to get sorted in the body shop, as well as a new MOT etc, I should be going back on Thursday to seal the deal.
Is there a reason why when people have kids, they immediately jump to MPVs?? I have 2 brothers...and when we were young...we had Cavaliers, Carltons, Lagunas....never have we even had an estate etc...in fact, the Laguna is a hatchback...and weve always managed fine with the Hatchbacks and saloons.
Now I dunno bout you, but I always find styling on MPVs to be a bit lacklustre...would a decent second hand saloom not interest you in any way???
If you do decide to get the mazda tho...good...cos its a much nicer looking car for one than the vauxhall and ford crap out there....plus its actually reliable....
I know what you mean Craig, When we had our 1st baby I went up in size from a 3door corsa to a 5door astra. This served me well whilst I just had the 1 child, when we were expecting our second, everyone told me I would need a people carrier, but I refused to listen, the youngest is 9months now, and the last 9months has been a struggle when it comes to space. i.e both babies are in a pram, therfore we have a big double pram which alone takes 80% of the boot space, so when we go shopping we have now space for shopping bags or any large purchases. We also go on a lot of Britain based holidays - Haven/Butlins and the like. and once we have packed the Babies necessities we have no space for our stuff or extras.
So at least I have tried for 9months before deciding that for my lifestyle, a MPV would be best.
Just phoned my insurance company for a quote to transfer my policy (remaining 6months) onto the Premacy 2.0L Sport, can any one hazard a guess at how much extra the insurance is over my Astra. going from a Grp6 -> Grp8.
vauxhall would probably rip your arms out(part exin) down there if u go looking at a nearly new sporty zafira although citroen (with a turby d in ) would probably do u best on a piccasso, the mazda is well reliable but they are mostly owned by ford now if i recall and they are a little bit northern rock at the mo
All hail the posting King and thou Wiki Wirral Bumper sticker will be displayed with pride
