Found this in an old 'Wirral Urban district Residents Guide'
Undated but seems to be about 1960.
Loads of Ads for shops in Irby Pensby Heswall and Gayton
Washing machine can Wash Rinse and dry a big load in 8 mins.
My brand new Hotpoint one takes Nearly 45 Mins ! Now thats progress
