i was told that its ok to use bodywork polish such as Autoglym Super Resin polish on my rims, but im still a bit unsure, so just wondering if anyone knows much about this kind of thing and wether it'd be safe to use on my rims or not?

i dont like buying every single cleanin product that there is as it seems a bit of a waste to me, im not the type to buy the most expensive car glass cleaner when ordinary household glass cleaner does the same job just as good for a fraction of the price.

i have stainless steel polish for the exhaust, but sometimes when im feeling lazy i'll use glass cleaner and blue tissue to clean it as that works just as well as polishing it, i dont see it as cutting corners, just cutting time and costs

i have the autoglym clean wheels solution an yea that works well on the wheels, it gets them clean well enough but i wanted to give them a real shine. its like when you wash your car, its clean, but if you polish it aswell, then its even cleaner and sparklier.

i did use the autoglym super resin polish meant for the bodywork in the end after speaking to people from wheelbase and it worked wonders! they said that they use it to clean their rims from time to time and that it also removes minor scratches

in the end, the rims looked really shiney and a few people commented on how "bling" they looked too laugh

those alloys make my mirrios seem dull, you can see your face in them from a million miles away, great idea though adam.
I will have to give it a go when i eventually get round to putting effort in my car again
