DOES ANY ONE NOW IF ITS WORTH PUTTIN A BYPASS PIPE ON MY CAR, I HAVE JUST BOUGHT ONE AND NOW WONDERING WETHER OR NOT TO PUT IT ON.

BUT WILL FIT TEH FIRSTA XR2I, RS TURBO AND THE SI'S

If its a De-Cat pipe then its worth putting on your car matey as you gain some performance, however it is illegal to drive on the public highways without a catalyst on your car if it was 1st registered after 01st sept 1992 :
Road side emissions check will cost you approx £60 fine and wont pass a MOT also......
If you have bought it you may as well fit it....

ive got a decat on mine and u can tell the difference straight away but mines a turbo so im not sure if they work better on them!

Ive kept the cat but had the silencers taken out and replaced with straight pipe!! this makes a difference to noise and power if you are after an alternative!! Peco did that for me so maybe speak to them!

when i got my system they told me if i wanted a de-cat pipe they would put a tempory cat on to get it through its MOT each time. I know this isn't much help for you mate, but hopefully this might help any one else thinking of fitting a de-cat pipe.
