My car electrics went mad last night. When I turned the engine off all the internal lights were flashing and driving home my speedo, rev counter - well nothing really was working. Any1 got a clue what could have caused this?? Disconnecting the battery and hooking it back up seemed to sort it.

My dad had a similar problem on his Scooby, he was told it was the ECU and went to all kinds of specialists before he found out it was just a corroded wire! It'd been chafing and worn the insulation through, and the salt on the roads last winter just corroded it right through. It's in gettin re-wiring done at the mo, should have it back v.soon <img border="0" alt=" " title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions038.gif" />
