One of the things i have noticed as each car company design a new version of a current model, like the new astra for example, or the brand new seat ibiza they lose there character

everybody knows the astra, but if you were to put the NEW astra infront of most people they would probably say i dont know what model that is.

So my point here is, are you old skool shape?,

OR are you a fan of new shaped models

new astra looks to much like a family car (which it is i guess) but the mk1 looks to old an box, like an exgadurated (spelling?) nova or something, best looking one was the mk3 GSi.

couldnt say which i prefer tho, new skool things like the Focus RS look well smart, but so do some of the old skool cars such Mk 1 Golfs etc.

its to hard to choose!

hmmm, for performance i'd go for the FRST everytime, but i prefer the look of my Si, am not big on the look of the the XR's an the FRST's but wudnt say no to the FRST laugh dont really like the XR2i as a car, there's something about it that puts me off it. smile

old skools look best, i think all the hot hatches have grown up and got bigger. for example a 306 to a 307 or an old astra to a new one. the new ones have started to take away the fun of the hot hatch.

Old skool girl here - although I wouldn't exactly call a MK3 Astra 'Old Skool'.

MK1 Astras, Golfs, Pug 205 GTi's laugh
