Isnt that the same engine as in the XR4. Come to think of it,didnt u have a bust-ass XR4 the other month, and then tupac broke it for spares or somethin. That cudda been a cheap engine for ya.
Recomendations from me mate
Fit the V6 and get a nice exhaust on it (maybe a rear exiter?) Rally paintsceme and graphics,or respray PROPER CW blue and yellow with a cool as hell graphics design on it Get a custom bodykit not OTT but just nice shaped. Sort the back part of interior out (if its possible cos u wont wanna put tools etc in the back once uve given it shagpile)

I found these for the trany http://www.body-kit.co.uk/acatalog/ford_transit_lighting.html I would only fit the engine if its cheap and has more torque than the old one cause from the sound of the problem thats what your after. Maybe a second hand body kit made to fit eg choped and streched ( pete did my skitrt like this and did a great job). Deffinatley the rims though they will make the big difference.

It has allot more BHP & Torque (Almost double) than the diesel unit.
I will have some nice pipes on it also, sounding sweet (Obviously)
I have seen the lights on e-bay and you can get the angel eyes headlamps also but i dont want to spend big money oin a old van. Just want the freshen her up a bit.....

I know what you mean, thats a gud sign of old age lol. I would just do the engine if you feel you will benefit from it and for looks get the bumpers colour coded and alloy maybe tints aswell.

Got a idea for a colour,If ur goin for a re-spray u may as well pick a colour that looks good and hides dirt well, and u cant do much better than fords very own
Imperial blue! dark blue cars hide dirt very well, and as its a transvestite u know it aint gonna get washed often

MAD. If you look at last months fast ford (maybe months before ) there was a transit smaller wheels base one with a cossie engine init and 6 bucket seats and it looked sweet so get the van thing going because its not what you see all the time and would make a nice change. Back when i used to race hotrods (banger raceing to everybody else) the one of the lads did the 2.9 conversion in his transit and it went like stink wheel span alot thought. GOODLUCK MATEY

Yeah, i thought about putting a cazzie lump into it but there big money and the van is getting on in life now (Bit like its owner) The V6 will sound nice with some sweet pipes fitted though, a bit different for a tranny....
