Just noticed that there's a small traveller camp on Oxton Fields. It's on the section behind Sainsbury's, Prenton.
Don't know how long they've been there but they seem to be keeping the place tidy. Their vehicles look pretty posh I have to say. Not like the days of the old crusty convoy travellers at all.
As long as they pay their council tax and behave themselves then no cause for complaint.

I have had experience of these entities before, subhuman ... who ruin everywhere they infect, check that your belongings are locked up tight before you retire tonight and don’t leave your dog alone for a second, if anyone comes on here to defend them they obviously have not had dealings with them.

I passed the other day and presumed it was an official event.
Wirral still hasn't got an official traveller's site which local authorities are required to provide by law.
The Council appear to have come to some sort of agreement that the New Brighton Promenade (Coastal Drive) RV's etc are now permanently parked on Sandcliffe Road

These seem to have come up with new way of making easy money. Set up on private car parks , golf clubs etc and allegedly ask for money to leave! The village hotel had some in their car park , they have left but not without leaving mess! Apparently it takes so long legally to move them on some businesses have paid to get them off. It’s disgusting and somehow got to be stopped. They just think they can get away with anything!!

It appears they really can get away with anything, it must be soul destroying being held to ransom with no protection from the law.
