Can anyone confirm if there was a North Star in Bentinck Street.? Comparing some pics with one with Bentinck Street street sign on it against North Star in Cleveland Street although they look very similar there appears to be more top windows in the Bentinck Street one.
That picture confirms it. There are reminisces on the internet also mentioning it.
Loads of pubs were built in that similar 3 storey structure, the Waterloo was similar.
From what I can see, the only building on Bentinck Street that matched this was the Royal Standard
