A bit more on the story from yesterday's Echo
Wed 27th March Sad to see it close.
It was put on the market a couple of years ago in trade papers, with no 'For Sale' boards up.
This was viewed by some as a bit of a 'fishing trip' to see how it sat on the property market.
I think the advertised price (then) was about £2M.

I liked the Queens, had a few meals and a drink in there, also remember it as a Berni Inn, Friday night with the good lady, we thought we were the kids then.
