We live and work in Cyprus, but hope to return to the UK soon to visit our friends and families.

As things stand, for the purposes of re-entering Cyprus, the authorities require actual physical certification of a negative Covid test taken within 72 hours of the time of arrival on the island. You're probably aware that the result of an NHS test is only issued by email or text. (We are not eligible for the NHS coronavirus test anyway, as we don't fulfil any of the eligibility criteria).

Does anyone know of a clinic/laboratory anywhere in the Merseyside area, which offers a coronavirus test with appropriate certification of the result? We are of course aware that a substantial fee may be charged, but any details would be gratefully received.

I'm fairly sure most doctor's will do that on a private basis, if not there are private medical centres (eg Spire Murrayfield) around who will lighten your wallet very willingly. Your problem might be timescale.
