Here is the future of space travel, and in the near future, possible space tourism.
This will be the first manned launch from US soil since they abandoned their Space Shuttle program in July 2011.
"The rocket will lift-off at around 4.33pm EDT (9.33pm BST), and if it all goes to plan, it means we could see the rocket flying over the UK 15 minutes later, which will be around 9.45-9.50pm."
It should be visible for a few minutes looking south, with the rocket moving west to east.
I am hoping to get a glimpse of it tonight. smile

Looking at weather.com, it has scattered thunderstorms at 4.30pm and cloudy from 4.45pm onwards, so hopefully just delay the launch for 15 minutes or so.
Fingers crossed it doesn't postpone the launch for another day because the skys are clear here. pray

Just checked and NASA will now attempt the test flight to the International Space Station on Saturday at 3:22 p.m. ET.
That is such a shame. Now there will be no chance of spotting it here because it will be too light.
Ahh well!

It's like the gods are against the take off.
Weather.com has scattered thunderstorms around the launch time and mostly cloudy either side of it.
