Gosh Philip Schofield gay, that was a shock to me anyway! He always looked like he had the perfect marriage with his wife Steph and two daughters and successful career. They been together for so long as well I’ve never heard any rumours in the press or ever suspected but there you go.

Give it another few years, and people will be " coming out" saying they are straight, I feel sorry for the young now, they are constantly being force fed stories and images about being gay, men kissing and tonging each other appears to be normal telly fare, brings to mind the old saying they don't know their arse from their elbows.

He's lived a lie for a long time. In fact , it's not even news, many probably picked up on his sexuality long ago. Let's just see if he suddenly has a new partner to be introduced to us by the media, in the not too distant future .

All the hugs and kisses were because they are scared of saying how they really feel in case the homophobic card is thrown in. He has used his wife for 20 odd years because of his cowardice to admit what he is, then he had the gall to say he was proud of himself for coming out. Well done Philip, maybe you will get an award.

Well I for one was really shocked, whenever he spoke of Steph and seeing them together he seemed totally in love with her. I never saw anything to suggest he was gay. I suspect you’re right Granny , we will most probably see him soon with new partner. Watched the Michael Barrymore documentary and he was the same married for so long but gay. I suspect there are many more high profile living a lie and think we will be hearing alot more coming out as they say.

Well..... today it seems ,he knew 27 years ago when he got married , this is so wrong on many levels .I feel for his wife , he may love her but has . He deceived her for so long .He should have been honest with himself from the start. I I always wondered if he was gay , too pretty and femimine looking
for my taste .

Who cares? I have no more interested in the wretched fellow's sexuality than I have in the sex-life of woodlice. It is his and his families business not anyone else's and why he finds it necessary to tell us all about it is baffling. I can only suppose it is either to gain the congratulations from other media creatures for his 'bravery' in boring us with this news or a shameless publicity stunt.

The media describes him as brave, meaning I think the cats going to be let out of the bag soon, better jump first, he was gay when he married, so he used his wife and family life as a cover of respectability for 27 years, the ultimate betrayal.

Watching Dancing on Ice last night which he hosts with Holly, he needs to get some weight on,,he looked so thin practically skeletal. Apparently he’s lost alot of weight over all this... Think he had to come out and tell everybody because he’s so high profile every time you put tv on its him presenting,adverts etc that it was obviously going to come out and better coming straight from him than newspapers etc....
The way they really pushing gayness in everybody’s face I don’t feel it’s helping the cause and most prob causing more homophobia than ever. I was so glad to see H and Matt from dancing on ice go out last night, it was so cringy watching them H last week dressed as a swan couldn’t watch hardly.

So he's gay who cares it seems you can't be a male tv presenter unless you're gay, now it seem we have the vegans taking over so by 2050 their will be no babies being born and people hiding in corners eating burgers out of brown bags.
