I am researching the history of a house named Darley Dene which was situated in Breck Road, Wallasey. It was destroyed during an air raid on the 12th March 1941 and the ruins finally demolished in 1959.
I am aware of details published in The Rise and Progress of Wallasey, The Old Mansions of Wallasey and the website 'History of Wallasey.'
I would like to hear from anyone who has any photographs, newspaper cuttings, articles etc. That they would be willing to share with me.
I would be most grateful for any help.
Many thanks,
Nick.

There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music.
