I've no proper idea, I just made sure I had a court order saying my ex couldn't take from my pension. I'd guess the normal sort of equation of how many years married against how many years he earned pension gives the fraction then divide by two?
Only against company pension.
Eg 30 years gaining pension 20 years married (of those same years). £12,000 pension pa.
20/30 = 0.666666
0.666666 * £12000= £8000
Your half of £8000 is £4000 pa, he keeps £8000 pa

Ive just seen a great interview with john ackers ( not a scientist ) against piers corbyn 10 years ago.....on sky news. Piers constantly challenges him or any " gravy train hysteria " follow the sheep CC people to an open public debate .....piers batters him with data yet ackers just waffles the usual " most scientists think CC is 100 % real " BS. Piers says his usual " co2 doesnt drive weather or storms or sea levels etc , weve been cooling " Ackers comes up with nothing just " were at a tipping point & piers is a maverick " You find this alot on youtube , CC alarmists just abuse people who have data to back themselves up. Why ? Cause they have nothing. One interview in the US the CC alarmist just walked out cause he had no argument except " we all think this "
