I see all the idiots are tearing through the roads again spoiling the Egg Run for genuine sensible motorcycle enthusiasts. Do these speedsters think the rules iof the road change today just to allow them to do speeds well over the limit & traffic lights have become invisible.

A group of scrambler bikes attended this year too - not sure ifas many were there in previous years, saw a couple ride up the grass verge into the gorse/bracken at side of the red noses. At least one quad was piloted by a child of barley teen years. Police were in attendance but seemed to only hold a watching brief.
Saw a report on social media that one had looped an attempted wheelie somewhere near Moreton Cross. My first thought was that i hope no pedestrians were injured.

The police stand by but take no action, and that is exactly why some people believe they can do as they like, because there are no consequences, petty crime is on the rise, stealing from cars, vandalism is ignored because they say that they have to prioritise, so petty crime turns into something more serious and spreads like a virus that affects the lives of everyone from young to old, knife crime allowed to get out of control, a few stiff sentences years ago would have had a major affect, sorry for going on.

I agree with Casper. I remember many years ago, someone getting heavily fined for carrying a motorcycle chain. they had just bought it to replace the chain on their Motorcycle. The police at that time wouldn't tolerate anyone carrying weapons. No excuses!
I also blame the news coverage. If violent crime and anti social behaviour wasn't reported so much, kids wouldn't copy them

I do think the organisers of such events should take more responsibility & find a way to stop these young idiots taking part. With so many attending the egg run (reportedly5000) it will be hard but theres a reputation to withhold & lets face it there are plenty of people wanting to see an end to it without giving them cause to complain.
