In 2018, 1984 reported faults of which 434 (22%) are reported as fixed.

In 2017, 5960 reported faults of which 1997 (34%) are reported as fixed.

In 2016, 5697 reported faults of which 1274 (22%) are reported as fixed.

Since 2010, 41537 reported faults of which 6155 (14.8%) are reported as fixed.

Not forgetting that the council supposedly checked and repaired EVERY street-lamp at the beginning of 2017. My observations at the time showed this was totally untrue.

Absolutely appalling repair rates of street-lamps, there are many places you see two lights on the run not working. The Council are bringing the maintenance back in-house this year, hopefully this will improve things.

The most reported street-lamp was in Thorneycroft Street, Birkenhead with 38 reports between 2004 and 2012. This street has since been knocked down and new houses built whilst renaming the street to Thorneycroft Avenue.

I reported a Street light out by me not long after they had been changed to LED. The Engineer came and discovered it hadn't even been connected to the mains. The firm that installed these lights was paid for not completing a job and the council just handed over the money without checking.

I reported two adjacent lights before xmas and they are still out! One of the reasons I've been looking at the statistics.

Some of the ones on the Rock Ferry bypass have NEVER worked since they were converted to LEDs.

I'm not sure if a light which has never worked counts as faulty. I suppose its tantamount to complaining that a pig is not a cow.

Since i ride to work early in the mornings, the winter months are the worse, i have reported faulty lights to the Clowns over the last couple of yearwhich have taken weeksto fix, i am now noticing those same lights are faulty again, the roundabout at St.Hilary's brow have been out for months, the lights on the Clown roundabout have been out for years and came on once for a week or two but are now out again!
Like to know if any other Council suffer the same service as we do in Wirral?

I reported a street light that was burning all day and night. Weeks went by and nothing done so tried to report again via their website and it said that it was being dealt with. After a while the light went out completely so I sent feedback stating that with all the cuts and we can afford to leave street lighting on all day. Why do they take so long to repair. It a disgrace!
