Holland and Barratt will be looking for new staff following the latest wave of staff handing in their notice. If senior management would only look at the turnover of staff under a particular manager they might just think they have a slight problem.

Its just changed hands yet again which says it all. Always trying to get a workforce at the cheapest rate.

Whats going on there then fish? Basically poor man management over rotas and messing staff around over holidays. Think a particular manager has a power problem. Inconsistency over applying rules to different members of staff. Making staff come in on their day off just to pick keys up to open shop following day. Not giving days leave for compassionate grounds (staff aren't full time anyway). Employing staff for weekend work only then trying to make them do a weekday. Sending staff who they know don't drive off to cover shops miles away (2 hrs journey time on public transport). Employing staff who they know have child care then changing their hours so they cant pick there kids up. Just builds up resentment then staff quit... . My friend there has worked under different managers and its just one particular one that seems to cause staff to resign.

He sounds a right jerk . Life is complicated enough for people these days without managements screwing up your plans and arrangements .
