Not come across that one thanks-will add it to the pub index as

746 Elephant and Castle 29 Desmesne Street, Seacombe, Wallasey

I usually don't do it as a clickable entry unless I come across a pic of it or someone does it as a new topic with the next number in the index with something to say about it
Some other Seacombe pubs I'm interested in getting the street/road number for (if you could help)are

old House at Home, Victoria road, Seacombe (1861 mawdsley beer house)
Oddfellows Arms,Victoria road, Seacombe (1861 mawdsley beer house)
Revenue Hotel 30 Demesne Street,Seacombe
Royal Oak Inn, Demean st. Seacombe (1861 mawdsley pub)
Seacombe Hotel (Vaults) Seacombe (1857 PO directory) & (1861 mawdsley pub Hotels, Inns & Taverns

I am trying to find any details about the 'Manchester Arms Inn' which was located in New Brighton, Cheshire. It is mentioned in The Liverpool Mercury newspaper dated December 5th, 1863, when a Coast Guard/RNLI man named John Cole brought the survivors of a ship named 'Isabella & Catherine' to this Inn.

I would be grateful for any information.

Nick.

Victoria Road, Seacombe was renamed to Borough Road

There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music. David Osland 2025

How does that work ? Is it just the business fittings and good will thats for sale at £165k and then you rent the whole premises by the year, from the person who actually owns the building and freehold ?

I guess so, I don't know if it is a free-house or the rent is to a brewery in which case you are tied.

The Beehive Hotel, Prenton Park Hotel and the Imperial Tavern may be put up for sale after EI Group and Stonegate Pubs merge.

Stonegate own the Sportsman's Arms and the Halfway House.
EI Group own the Queens Arms.

Griffin Hotel, Borough Road (was 40a Victoria Road), Wallasey, open before 1857 and closed before 1964. Was a Spraggs pub then Higsons.

North side of Borough Road, halfway between Brighton Street and Demesne Street on the corner of what was Smithy Lane which has gone.
