Are there any allotment shops any more, the last one I remember was at the allotments in Prenton Rd West, many years ago. They used to be very handy for buying fertilizers etc at very reasonable prices.

Hoylake Allotment Association Shop Opening Times
Sunday: 11.00 a.m. - 12 noon, but will open for individual customers at any time.

Bebington Road Allotment society runs one for its members. I have no idea if they cater for non-members however. It is open Sundays around lunchtime I think.
