This is how, from Windows 10. Its simple and painless and pretty quick. Click the Start Button, and select Settings. From the Settings Page Select Update and Security Make your Choice : In my case its Go Back to Windows 7 A Bit of thinking on Windows 10 part !! A Bit of Feedback ! Information : The removed programs is only if you removed them prior to clicking upgrade. You should find window X as it was. Information : Information : About 10 mins and I was back to Windows 7 and Happy again.

Normally easiest to put in on a cd and boot from the cd to install Windows 7. The activation key might be tied to a manufacturer (such as HP, Dell etc) in which case you may need to use their install disc not the generic microsoft one (I can't remember if this applied to Windows 7 like it did with XP). Sometimes a factory restore hidden on the hard-drive will do the install to Windows 7.
