love those cars,tis ripe for a 355 conversion as a lot of bits need touching up.how common are the turbo MR2s?

dnt know but evry review ive read off people is that they are reliable and have the most amazing perfomance 155mph 0-60 about 5.5 sec

Seems dodgy to me, they aint twin turbo, there twin entry turbo. its either the GT turbo or a GT-S which is wot i would have when i get one. Lovely cars, around the 210bhp as standard

Two pipes into the turbo I presume!
I'd prefer the mk1 to mk2, I hear the mk2 isn't as much fun to drive, and was slated for that reason when it came out.

i want a mk2 rev3 GT-S Lovely engine to work on i've been told, same engine and the Celica GT4 (3S-GTE) i've seen a 500bhp one of these and also a video of a 820bhp from america. MK1's are 1.6's (aint sure if there is a 1.8)

My mates got one on a J reg, only know it's 230bhp as standard and very quick! Handles like a sack of sh1t though even with Knois but he's had it for 3 years and it's been ultra reliable.
