I have decided not to run another poetry competition, due to the comments that are made, in an effort to ridicule.
Such comments can be intimidating to some and therefore the whole process is wasted, when trying to encourage others to join in.
Thanks to all those who supported.

Granny, I urge you to reconsider, otherwise the detractors have won. Name and shame the idiots who seek to intimidate and we can face them down together. Besides, I've got a winning poem up my sleeve. Who said that's the best place for it?

Thanks to all those who supported. @ Granny If you change your mind and start another competition, just Notify the offenders and i will suspend those accounts. Please include a warning to off topic replies. Ive only today received one notified posts basically saying the few have spoiled it for the many. Its frustrating and i completely understand your frustration Granny, its my world mosts days. For thoses who don't realise the time and effort that goes into what seems a simple topic, try something like it and then you will understand. Drop me a Pm to reopen this topic Granny. Mark
