Would anybody be able to help me as I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY RELATIVES in that year and his age no post-mortem would have been preformed and it was entered as a suicide on death cert. (I have not seen the cert) It was an accident on a farm in Wemm/ a rifle accident. I am wondering would there be a paper that I might be able to do research in. My relatives did and still do live in the Birkenhead area

There would have been a Coroners Inquest if suicide was entered on the death certificate.

Hi thanks for reply! I was told by my mother that during the war she, her brother and mother were moved to a farm in Wemm . My uncles name was James Barry Wensley they lived in Wallasey. My family were quite secretive about the accident and very divided about the events of what happened.:)

His death was registered at Whitchurch,1942

Inquest report, Liverpool Daily Post, October 3, 1942.

He lived at Gerrard Rd, Wallasey, found with Gunshot wounds in a room at Lower Pools Farm, Wem, Shropshire.
