I walked down swan hill today and I saw a dark red bus going to Liverpool, on the side was the logo 'Ribble'. I have not seen a Ribble bus for about 30 years and then they were always on the other side of the river! Does anyone know whether or not this company is back in business?
Got taken over by Stagecoach, there are numerous Ribble enthusiasts clubs and historic buses around.

Here's a Classic Ribble bus that's often seen around. It's part of a collection housed outside Southport and lives with a number of restored Liverpool buses.
