How about it ?
Between now and Christmas write your own
poem(s). Doesn't matter how daft or serious, let it be a chance for a bit of light entertainment .
Mark can also contribute, but who are to be the judges ?
3 Volunteers needed for judging.

Instead of judges, an alternative idea is for all the poems to be submitted to one person/collection point , who could cut and paste them into a poetry comp thread with no author, and wiki members could in a month or two, read through them all again , and vote for their favourite in maybe two different catagories , 'serious' and 'fun' ? Only after judging would names be revealed. Just a thought.

That's ok so long as the person is not going on holiday. Are you nominating yourself Venice ? Snowhite, I think you should do a poem .

Yes all to one person unless theres a way people can all contribute to one thread without being identified . Wasnt particularly nominating myself, but dont mind being collector if need be. Cant imagine there would be mounds of poems lol. Not trying to usurp your judgeship snowhite by the way lol, just suddenly thought of an alternative. Im happy to go with whatever way. (dont think a few days away wouldnt make any difference anyway to second method Granny)

As Sunny volunteered her services first, should we offer this responsible position , firstly to her ? If she doesn't want it, you can take this arduous task on board , Venice. Thanks for offering. You can also contribute a poem or three ! Sunny ???? Thinking about it Venice, it might be a bit tricky for you as you are not 'User Plus+1' and that limits your pm's considerably.

You can create a poll.
Options are available to keep the results hidden until a time and date.
If yu get stuck drop me a pm, as they can be qwerky.
My 2cents
Create a theme subject.
Max entries
Then vote.
Start new Theme while the vote continues.
Once you get the hang of it its great.

Sounds all good to me. How do we do this 'poll box' thingy ?
A) Write a poem from any given theme.
B) where do we send it too ?
C) How do we keep the poet's identity secret ?
D) When do we choose a new theme ?
E) How do people choose their favourite ?
