Apparently the police were standing on a traffic island after having deployed a stinger device, and the stolen Mitsubishi allegedly drove into them deliberately, news says its a murder hunt, sad news for the loss of a police officer doing his job,RIP

Looks like they targeted the estate agents to specifically steal the 4X4 truck, strange choice as the truck is quite distinctive being in red with gold writing all over it naming the estate agents.
I drove past the estate agents earlier last night, I keep on meaning to get a dash cam, would make my day to help catch sc^m like this.
