Vast imporvement mate - looks ten times better How do you find it handles though? I found that if you ran the rear higher than the front, the EGs have a habit of oversteering due to the engine being mounted so far forward... Of course, the coupe does have more weight over the rear than the 3 door, so may help compensate.

Really really bumpy but there is no body roll and the steering is dead touchy, You hardly have to turn the wheel lol, Ain't give it none yet, So will let you know what its like at speed round a bend etc etc
I'm tepmted to remove the rear ones again and take one of the ajuster rings off so it will sit another 10mm lower, If you get what i mean ?

shawn, I bet she handle's really well bud, but there's only one problem with it................you look like a midjit when next to another car  really impressed with the way your cars comin on bud and I seriously think you should keep it. A b16a conversion is not that expensive you know

If you turn round and say its really really bumpy...and the steering is dead touchy...doesnt really sound that promising..Im not having a go...it just sounded like you were having regrets.. suspension is dead easy to get wrong..and alot of people drop the car on its arse and then regret bitterly doing so..it may look the mtuzntuz..but its a bitch to live with and noisey and every journey becomes hard work..you stop enjoying the car when it impacts on your day to day life..it stops your mates gettin in the back etc etc... all I was saying was did you fook it up..or are you happy and going to keep it lower than my nans tits...

Got nuffin to say about my car then don't post in my topic please!!! all I was saying was did you fook it up..or are you happy and going to keep it lower than my nans tits... pmsl, can any thing be that low ! audi's got a point shawn, mostly about your mate's in the back and speed bumps etc etc, but who care's, its your car not a taxi etc etc, as long as you use it for fun, you'll never get bored of it, if the noise of the loud exhaust piss's you off, install a loud system

Lol..Ive had seriously modified car in the past..had an Audi S2 pushing nearly 500bhp at one point..and it was the most tempremental Son-of-a-bitch to start, work on and generally live with...I had to put two bottles of additives in every tank to stop it pinking and I struggled to get 120 miles out of a tank of juice...
I spend thousands and thousands on it...and it was SUCH a nightmare i eventually got rid..at a huge loss..whilst it was fun..when it worked and wasnt giving grief..all the extra hassel took such an edge off any enjoyment I got from the car...
be warned there is such a thing as going too far!..if your like the rest of us plebs and only have one car..not three lol!

No i love my new set up, Infact i love it that much the back is going lower today lol, When i said the steering is touch i meant it in a good way, Its like the cars on rails haha, Bumpy don't bother me, I'm young dumb and full of cum so, Lower the better  As i said the back will be 100mm today so it will be 100mm al round, The front is perfect

Id like to see some of those pics too - bit off topic though, this is for Seans car...  Sean - you gonna remove the alloy rings? The bouncing could be because the car is so low, and stiff with the new springs, that it is under damped on the std shocks - springs are great for the looks of the car, but you really need shocks and springs to make a good overall improvement on the handling

Yep the alloy rings are coming it off making it another 20mm/30mm on the back When i meant bumpy i didn't mean bouncing all over the place, I meant you feel every little bump in the road , Its dead stiff and don't bounce at all, You push down on the back off the car and the hole car moves at the same time lol, Thats how stiff it is

Just make sure you dont go so low that you take up all the movement in the shock - if its very low, and very stiff it could just be riding on the bump stops and have only them and the tyres for suspension. First time I set my first set of coilovers up mine did this lol
