i like your thinking scoop! might mount some speakers in the car somewhere but will stealth them in (i.e so you can't see them) just soi have the options of listing to something other than my exhaust.

wahey! waiting for someone to say that! yep i know its the front plate just getting an idea how it might look also damaged the rear plate trying to get it off the boot. windows are going to be left untouched for two reasons firstly they have a few deep scratches on them so isn't worth tinting them plus i dont really have anything to hide inside the car! might end up having them done once its on the road. don't let the pics fool you it is far from ready, considering that the jack is holding up the front end! front coilovers will be arriving in 3 weeks or so. also those wheels are my old 12" wellers turned the other way round which is far from safe.

after crashing my first car i was wondering what car i would like to do up as a project, always being a fan of the mini for its light weight, cheap insurance, and huge potential it was and obvious choice. to get this car looking and going as i want it will probabily cost me in the regiion on 15k (on the road in 10k) yet it would cost twice as much as that if i were to go for a modern car. so it is also cheaper too! also bar the elise nothing outhandles it (if set up right). i just saw more pros than cons, only con i can think of is it might be difficult in getting in and out of with me being 6 feet 3!

right think its time for an update......... bought a pair of alloy super mini fins, before anyone asks the are alloy drums for the rear with cooling fins to help prevent brake fade. got a sort of before and after pic, and comparing the two. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.cruisewirral.com/gallery/uploads/01/06july/cruisewirral03017.jpg) also bought some front coilovers to match the rear ones. only problem is they sent 2 shocks and 1 spring! be on the phone tyo them monday morning. anyway also got some beefy brackets required to hold them. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.cruisewirral.com/gallery/uploads/01/06july/cruisewirral03019.jpg) now with these large brackets on the brace bars don't fit, doh! time to get the engineering head on see what i can come up with!
