got the arches, seam covers and boot today. they took off the front to spray it seperately. waiting till next weekend, when the car is home, so i can do a small mock up and take loads of pics!

Love the colour, its going to look amazing.

mini still isn't here! went down friday to pay off some of the money and they had flattened all the paint and polished it! its sooo shiny! hopefully i shall have it by monday so i shall take some pics then!

so far this week bought some 3 dial clocks, found them on ebay going at a reasonable price so i snappped them up! if anyone wants the union jack dials pm me as they will be going in the bin! they aren't the look i'm going for.


managed to get a rear cage for ebay as well! tis a genuine safety device ones so matches with the front from tupac.


removed the diagonal today



sprayed the front legs off my cage as well today.

first i removed everything off them, the rust powdercoating and and paint.

primed them with 1 coat and added 2 base coats of gloss black.

them painted them ford purple velvet (looks abit like cadburys purple) 2 coats and finally added 2 coats of laquer to make them shine like so!

Your making this all look far too easy.

I'm sure when its finished,
your going to be one happy chappy.

Mate still hasnt got intouch with me and he has been out (so his girl says) everytime i have knocked will be knocking in a different way when i see him next.

latest progress.spent the last weekend working from 10am till 10pm all 3 days removing bits, puting bits on all while being ever so careful so i don't scratch paint!

not for the fist 1000 miles or so! got to break the new engine in!

biggest achievement this week was getting the cage in. after spraying it, i took a piece of rope to the bottom of the rear legs to pull them in so they would just fit past the b-pillars! its one hell of a squeeze, but a perfect fit.







i'm am at teh moment a little strapped for cash, so the next update will be in a fortnight or so. unless anyone wants to donate..........
