Does anybody know if there is an app I can get on android that allows me to take a picture of the front of my house and then adapt colour schemes so I can then pick the best colour scheme for it?

Not tried it, but won't a paint my room programme do it eg the Dulux one? Its just edge detection and colour filling, you could even change the colour of the sky.
