Excellent, I bet all that hoard has given you a boost. Never heard of an old-ish Swiss coin getting dug up before, not being a maritime nation they didn't get around that much.

Thanks guys...yes its a great boost, just makes you want to get out and find more!! I thought the swiss coin may have been silver or at least 50% given its age, but its not frown

Its such a buzz to find something of that age Dilly, knowing it hasnt been handled in hundreds of years, and your the first person to see and hold it in that long!!

Yes that's the place. Have spoken to the chairman and he sounds a lovely man has assured me that I will get some good stuff with them. Really friendly and welcoming so going to give it a try. No good on my own .

There is an old tip in the second part of storeton woods I came across a fob watch just under the service of the bottom path after a rainstorm may be worth a search
