Accident on The Smiler Ride at Alton Towers, two carriages crashed one was empty other sixteen people in. Hope everybody ok. I don't like roller coaster rides and that one way too fast and scary for me......

That's terrible, with its track record of faults and accidents by now it should be perfect or closed down, especially as it had broken down earlier that day as well.

Accident on The Smiler Ride at Alton Towers, two carriages crashed one was empty other sixteen people in. Hope everybody ok. I don't like roller coaster rides and that one way too fast and scary for me...... Alton towers re-opened the other day. A 17 year old who was on The Smiler,when the accident happened. Was badly injured,she had to get one of her legs amputated .
