Theres alot of panavision vans , ewuipment vans .actors trailers ,a fire water truck (usually for rain) in new b right now....wonder what theyre filming ??

If look on i.m.d.b site its meryl streep too.
Bizarre !
Awaydays was made by the sea road / newby front connect bridge area. Thats where they where parked.
Although im sure its a cheaper film that one

Twickenham Studios will be filming Florence Foster Jenkins, today Monday 15th June, and will feature Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant, along with a crew of 100.
Filming is weather dependent but should take place at Green Lane between 4pm and 6pm today – a road closure has been put in place at Green Lane (the entrance to the North Wirral Coastal Park, ‘the gunsite’). Filming is also taking place this morning at Caldy Golf Course between 11am and 3pm.
Apparently, the geographical features are similar to Long Island on the East Coast of America which is why they’ve chosen to come here.
On a practical note the film company has been liaising with the council and fees for the road closure have been raised accordingly.

Don't like Hugh Grant but love Meryl streep. It,s great to see all these movies being made in our area. Always really fancied being an extra on a movie, I'll have to look into it..

The Green Lane road closure sign was there since Wednesday last week, 'road closed here, 15/06/15 0600 to 1530' no idea where I was gong to drive my bus instead as that is a part of my route! Road not closed, no disruption whatsoever! Hope Wirral Council still gets paid!!!!
