not so much as a car prob but never the less, i would like to know how to de-restrict me suzuki ap50 scooter! its not very fast as with any scooter and i am tryin to get and bhp gain possible! i was thinking of gettin a bigger filter but i think it might have probs with the carb! and little tips to make me scooter scream that little bit more?? thanks

To increase the speed of a 50cc scooter you can fit a performance exhaust will make it go from 30mph to 37-40mph then de-restrict it and you will get between 45 and possably even 50mph out of it.
You must remember though you seriously shorten the life of it - make sure you get the best oil you can that will help. If its brand new then its more worth while if you do this the engine will probably only last 10,000 -15,000 miles before things start dropping off, Best upgrading as soon as you can! Hope this helps :

I used to know a fella who could take 50cc's up to 90mph! haha! was scary like
