I miss the voyeuristic nature of the live-stream of the good old days as I find people watching is mildly interesting !!! But as for this years series the contestants are all a bit too similar to previous series and too attractive or egotistical for my liking !
Will still watch it though as I'm a loser who likes watching lol !! Glad Jack didn't take the car , wish that woman Adjoa would shut up about being a lesbian and as for the Irish model Jade...cringed at her boasting that people find her attractive and her polyamorous life choice rubbish!!!! This year also makes me feel more and more alienated from society and lonely as a cloud !!!! rant over

Posting as I love Big Brother . . . well loved Big Brother.

I have lost all interest in the show now. It has forgotten what it was and why it worked. It started as social experiment to see how people from different backgrounds coped with living together.

You had rich people, poor people, quiet people, unemployed people, business owners, teachers, grandparents and a wide range of ages. The tasks were designed to make them work as a team, help others who needed it and so on.

Over the last few years it has become full of fame hungry YY list "Celebs" who see it as a ladder to possibly get 5 minutes of fame after BB ends. BB producers need to have a proper look at who goes in the house, I dont mind 1 or 2 fame hungry people mixed with "Normal" people.

Big brother worked because it didn't appear set-up, now the tasks are set to cause friction as are other things BB throw into the mix, the best drama was the slow build up of housemates dislike coming to a head and not forced for TV.

My top 5 BB moments are:

1. Craig donating his winnings to help a young girl.

2. Alison falling through the garden table.

3. Alex hiding behind bedroom door, then dancing when door closed.

4. Kate falling over when drunk trying to get dressed.

5. Torn between 2 tasks, both long ones which were the fire they had to keep going or the pedalo challenge.

One that just missed out was Bubble running into the table.

I feel that the producers have gone too far now and we have lost the real BB forever, people who went in for the experience and not looking for anything afterwards.

Yeah I've got to agree with you there Diz. I used to love it but now trying to watch it is pretty boring. Maybe it will get a bit better as time goes on but I think as you say BB has list the plot!
