it's a clear sky above our beloved Wirral tonight...and there seems to be one big star in view ... can anybody identify it as I often read about such a planet etc is in view ... anybody identify??

At 10pm Venus WNW getting low, Jupiter WSW
At 12pm Venus NW very very low, Jupiter in West
