Raising funds for Claire House Hospice




Cruisewirral are running a Charity Car Wash at Asda Wallasey Car Park on Sunday the first of May 2005.

This is to raise funds towards Claire House Childrens Hospice based in clatterbridge in the heart of the wirral.



Claire House care for children 0 - 18 years with life threatening or life limiting conditions and their families from Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and the Isle of Man.

Children's hospices are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life, providing specialist respite, palliative, terminal and bereavement care.



We are looking for your support to make a differance to these sick children. We are looking for volenteers to help with the car wash on the day, if you can help please post below. If you carnt help out then why not pop along to have your car washed by the Cruisewirral volenteers.

i work on sundays, but ill come down to get my car washed as my mum use to work for claire house and her best friend is the deputy boss there so i now quite a bit about claire house. this is a top charity guys and girls. scooby is the a minimal amount that you have to give or just donate as much as you like?

I would love to say we would simply accept a donation from people who get there cars washed, however there will be some people out there who will "Take the mickey" if you know what i mean.

I think we may have a set charge for washing each car to avoid this happening.

It will be a car wash and chamois dry. Not sure what to charge ??? Put it this way, the hand car wash places charge £5 - £7 pounds for this. I dont think we should charge anywhere near this ??

I work sundays but will try and get an extra breaktime so i can come and get my car washed (breaktime is only 30mins and i work in oxton) good charity this my footy team sometimes does a match for clairehouse as my little friend goes there.

im workin that day im so sorry but if u have any posters ill put one up in my shop to advertise just an idea.

me dad charged £4 the other day for a charity car wash he did the other day, and he rised £300 well just about that. but he always had cakes and drinks, crisps and things like that for sale, so he made money for that aswell.

you should get people to donate crisps and make there own cakes and things like that.

i would donate food for you to sell, since i cant take part.

let me know soon thro, if you do what me too ???
